After serving our country for over 20
years in the United States Air Force, Chu Soh transitioned from the military
and is now serving the Christian community as COO for Christian Care
Ministry. His latest assignments were with
the 45th Medical Group at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, as the Deputy Group
Commander, the Medical Operations Squadron Commander and the Interim Director
of Clinical Quality Management and Performance Improvement. A board certified sports physical therapist
by trade, Chu holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor, a Master of
Exercise Sports Science from the University of Florida, and a B.S. in Biology from
the US Air Force Academy.
His years of experience in the medical
profession, specifically at the management level, have well prepared him for
working in a non-profit environment. In
the military, Chu was faced with managing limited funds to deliver safe,
quality, care at the best value to meet the needs of the patient while providing
the best customer service experience. He
is familiar and excited about the advances in social media, technology, and
evidence-based research that will provide additional venues to educate, connect,
and care for our ministry members. His
areas of expertise include healthcare management, project management, quality
management, customer service/patient relations, risk management, sports
medicine, and health promotions.
Chu has been married to his wife, Karyn,
for over 18 years. They and their 3
children have been blessed to serve together in over 10 assignments across the
country and overseas to wherever the Lord has taken them. They are excited to call Brevard County their
home and look forward to establishing roots and serving in ministry with
Christian Care.
