Plans 1 and 2

These are 100% plant based nutrition plans, optimal for aggressive health risk reduction and disease reversal. They are designed to decrease risk for major disease by reducing or eliminating risk factors such as high blood pressure, elevated total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, elevated triglycerides, elevated blood sugar, large waist size or being significantly overweight; or a complex of risk factors consisting of three or more markers that predict greater risk.

Nutrition Plans

Plan 1

100% whole foods plant based diet: emphasis is on vegetables, fruits, legumes (beans and soy products), oil producing fruits (such as avocados, olives, and nuts), small amounts of whole grains, and includes no animal source foods (ASF).

 

 

Plan 2

 100% whole foods plant based diet similar to plan 1 but includes more calories from whole grains.
