Savory Steel Cut Oats


¾ cup Steel Cut Oats

1 cup Water

1 cup Vegetable Broth

1 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast

¼ teaspoon Turmeric

¼ teaspoon Chili Powder

⅛ teaspoon Garlic Powder

1-2 large handfuls Greens


Bring the water and broth to a boil in a medium sauce pan.

Stir in the steel cut oats and reduce the heat to a simmer. Stir occasionally until the oats thicken and resemble a risotto like texture. Approximately five minutes.

Add greens and stir until wilted. Approximately two minutes.
